Local Elections.

Post by Mowgli on Thu Apr 24, 2008 8:59 am

Whatever you think or don't think about the British National Party, my question is, "How do you think they'll go on in the up-coming elections ?"

My guess is they will do better but not get such a massive swing their way. What do you and others think Mowgli?

I think they may make some gains and may even get their first seat on the London Assembly. Like all small parties they can concentrate resources on areas where they think they have a chance of winning seats. In Liverpool the BNP are fielding candidates in 11 wards out of 30 and I suppose because these wards are what's considered to be working class white areas, they probably hope to exploit the disillusionment felt by many with regard to the government's handling of policies like immigration control.

The important word there, Mowgli, was 'exploit.' The BNP works on the anxieties of people by various unsubtle methods. Racial strife is just one of their lines. I expect some people who agree with enforced repatriation of non whites in this country will vote for them. Most people who are able to think for themselves will see the BNP for what they are, racist fanatics with the 'good' of the nation pretty low down in their priorities.

You didn't answer the question Steve.
However seeing that you decided to opt for another tack I have to inform you that many , many people are well able to think for themselves and don't need the opinions of people who are unable to read a simple question, and answer it.

What's more, it's my considered opinion that a lot of your assumptions are incorrect.

Mowgli, I said I thought people who agreed with enforced repatriation may vote BNP. Didn't you read that bit or was it hidden too well amongst my assumptions. Which assumptions? Everything I said was true. The BNP even recruit from people who are barely able to think for themselves. Have you ever seen a BNP march? A couple of smart arsed 'leaders' followed by a mob of uber right wing skinheads. If you wish to contest my opinions then 'bring it on' but don't tell me how to reply to your questions. Ever!

This could go on forever. You do as you like, it is your prerogative. In a similar way I will do as I like. Night night. Sunshine.
