Has Wimbledon lost some of its excitement in the past few years, there doesn't seem to be any characters, looking at players of the past like John McEnroe who could ignite the crowd either in support or attracting boos, it must have been something to watch ...

News in the last few days indicates that the Government wishes to implement the recording of all calls, texts and emails in the UK. My first thoughts were that they would need a bloody big hard drive to store everything, second was what would happen when a disk is inevitably left on a seat on the 17:56 from Waterloo to Penguinville?
